Where there is any major disaster public interest means that there is often demand for information and items that can be kept as reminders of these awful events. Items such as postcards, hankerchiefs, napkins are produced, often to raise money to help those unfortunately involved. Some poems written are included on the Poems pages as well as longer works reflecting on the event on the Observations page.
